This morning we left Morehead riding into a dense fog with 70 miles ahead of us. The team rolled over numerous forest covered hills while on their way to Huntington. We entered West Virginia by crossing a bridge above the Ohio River and arrived into Huntington via police escort. The mayor of the city proclaimed July 31st as Journey of Hope Day at City Hall while several cyclists were interviewed by local news crews. Upon arriving at Huntington High School the team had a few hours to relax and then went to a friendship visit at MTSTCIL downtown. The team enjoyed the company of many individuals while eating delicious tacos. Solid day all around.
