Today was the day we crossed into our 6th state, Iowa. Nebraska was long yet a beautiful state. We had many friendship visits and met so many amazing people. We woke up this morning to a delicious breakfast; breakfast tacos. Then we all set off for our 50 mile day. At mile 12 we all made a pit stop at the Iowa state line for a quick picture. Then, we were off. So far, Iowa has been many rolling hills with cornfields to our left and right. Today, we are staying in Griswold, Iowa where our lodging is at a retreat cabin. As soon as we arrived here, the Adickies family provided a sub buffet for lunch. After this, we headed to an old rock quarry that is now a lake to rope swing and enjoy the water. Then, it was off to dinner by the Adickies, at their house. So far, we have cycled over 2,000 miles and it is surreal that we are already on day 34 of 63. Time is flying by but we still have much of the trip left. Many guys are trying really hard to be intentional and in the moment to enjoy every day we have left. Tomorrow we are off to Des Moines, Iowa, and I am so excited to see what the rest of Iowa and beyond holds.
