Arrival

The Arrival event is the culmination of a life-changing summer. Upon building hope for many individuals across the country, one cannot help but get caught up in the emotion surrounding such a special day. This is a celebration of all abilities and the amazing projects the Build America team was able to complete. We hope to see you there as we spend time reflecting on a summer of service.

The Build America 2019 Arrival Schedule

Arrival: 10:00 am on Saturday, July 27th, 2019 – Santa Monica Pier Overlook. You will find the walkway to the right of the Pier Arch. The overlook has a large canon in the center of it. To locate parking you click HERE.

Celebration Lunch: The Ability Experience will host a luncheon to congratulate the Build America team on an amazing Summer. This will take place at Barneys Beanery at 11:00 am. (1351 3rd St, Santa Monica, CA 90401) Team and family members will be able to enjoy the pier and take pictures prior to walking over to the restaurant. It is a 0.5-mile walk.  Please register online HERE!

All family, friends, and alumni are welcome to attend. We hope to see you there! Team members will have lodging covered for the evening of July 27th if needed. After the celebration event has concluded, they will be able to depart at any time. Crew members must stay for an event debrief on July 28th.
