Jim Karlovec

Jim is an initiate of the Delta Sigma Chapter at Bowling Green State University. Jim is the co-founder of the Journey of Hope and was both project manager and a cyclist in 1988 and 1989. His Ability Experience support includes Safety Committee membership, coach, mentor, corporate sponsor and developer of the Build America safety training program. In 1995, he founded Karlovec & Company Design/Build, a firm that focuses on National Historic District housing in Shaker Heights, Ohio. In 2010, Jim developed the safe cycling campaign, GiveAWave – Pay it Forward. Jim joined the board in 2020.
