On Tuesday, we woke up early to send off the Journey of Hope North Route. We wished them the best of luck as they continued their bike ride to Denver and across the country.
After breakfast, several team members brought wood down the mountain to begin setting up for the boardwalk project on the opposite side of camp, by the rock wall. While that was happening, the other team members finished digging out the footings to continue the infrastructure for the boardwalk on the mountain.
After lunch, we went up the mountain and poured concrete to create several new footholds on the boardwalk. While concrete was being poured, several team members destroyed an old boardwalk that was built in the 70s, located slightly higher up the mountain than the current end of the boardwalk. Programming was Casino Night, as we all dressed up in western themed costumes and took part in the various events of casino night.
